You can use your Oxford Test of English account to book and manage test sessions for your test centre.
You need an invitation email to register your account. You will receive an invitation email at the end of the Test Centre Training module.
Important to note: Although Test Centres have a particular time zone (from Migration), you still need to set your own time zone on the new platform. This is to make sure tests run correctly and for the Start button to appear.
To register your account:
Find your invitation email.
Choose the link in the email or copy and paste it into your internet browser.
Choose Staff Sign In. Sign in with your Oxford ID. Don’t have an Oxford ID? Choose Register Now.
You will already have an Oxford ID if you use:
Oxford Learn
Oxford Learner’s Bookshelf
Oxford Advanced Learners Dictionaries
Oxford Teacher’s Club

Complete the form. Most of your details are already entered for you.
Once you’re done, you will be signed into your Oxford Test of English account.
These instructions explain how to set up your staff on the Oxford Test of English website.
You will need at least two Invigilators and one IT Representative.
Remember that each Invigilator will need to complete the Invigilator training.
Please note, the IT Representative will not need to be set up on the Oxford Test of English website but will need to complete the training.
This is because their role is to install the Safe Exam Browser (SEB) and check computer specifications and functionality before tests are run. They do not require access to the platform.
To invite a new staff member to join your Approved Test Centre:
The Oxford Test of English Safe Exam Browser stops test takers from using other websites or tools while they are taking the test.
You must use the Safe Exam Browser for all test sessions at your test centre.
For every computer you will use for testing, your IT Representative should:
Download the Oxford Test of English Safe Exam Browser
Install the Oxford Test of English Safe Exam Browser
Check the Oxford Test of English Safe Exam Browser
Your IT Representative must check the Safe Exam Browser on each computer in the test room before a test session.
Your IT Representative should be ready to troubleshoot the Safe Exam Browser during a test session.
Make sure your IT Representative has The Oxford Test of English Safe Exam Browser Instructions PDF document.
Exit the Oxford Test of English Safe Exam Browser
When all test takers in a test room have completed their tests, the Lead Invigilator will need to exit and close the Safe Exam Browser on all computers.
We will send you a password to exit the Safe Exam Browser. You should share this password with your Invigilators.
You should never share the secure password with test takers. This would affect the validity of the test at your test centre.
Add the test taker’s First Name, Last name, and Email address.
Choose Save.
If you need to add another test taker to your Test Centre, choose Invite another test taker.
When you’ve finished adding test takers, choose Done.
Your new test takers will receive an email inviting them to join your Test Centre.
Test takers must register using the link in their invitation email.
Check your list of test takers to see who has been invited to join your Test Centre.
Next, the test taker must sign in to their account on oxfordtestofenglish.oup.com and follow the instructions on the screen to fully register with your organization. They should select Join the organization and complete their biodata.
If test takers fail to complete these steps, their details will not appear on your Test Centre account.
